Well, I believe that I shall "rest" in His presence today. I stopped my fast yesterday slowly. I felt that I needed to stop. Susan Gregory said in her book that the Holy Spirit may want you to end your fast early, that I had to listen to Him.The fast opened my eyes to many things, not as Spiritual as I hoped it would be, but never the less, I did get a lot out of it. I highly recommend this kind of fast.

Today this morning I had some dark chocolate chips with my nuts, oh my they were good.
However, I didn't finish them. I was full. I actually listened to my body. That my dear ones is fantastic for me. Plus everything I read this morning, my devotions, my Bible, all of it was such a blessing.
Right now Sam my cat is in my lap purring his little heart out, how could I ask for anything more.I got so side tracked just to write this blog. I have been meaning to go exercise all morning. Here it is 11:30 or so and I still haven't. BUT you know what, this is so good for me right now, better than exercise. These are the moments I shall remember.
Okay, I really do want to exercise, I do enjoy it really.

Praise the LORD that I was able to do 19 days. It might not have been spiritual or exciting, but it was a time I needed in my season of life.

So many creative ways to fix vegetables, and trust me Jerry and I have these past 2 weeks. We have had lots of fruit too. Made smoothies.
Yesterday I made one with frozen peaches, banana, canned pineapple, and water - DELICIOUS! Then this morning I had frozen berries, banana, and pineapple - DELICIOUS!!! After our fast I will incorporate these foods in our meals. Jerry fixed a delicious beans, carrots, potato and onion meal in the crock pot today for dinner. He added his special flavoring. DELICIOUS!
I know God's hands doesn't look like these but I love color and HE did give us that. I admit days 8 and 9 were rough. I was craving sweets very bad - especially chocolate. But He gave me a hand and I made it through. Now 10 & 11 much better. We bought a small food processor thing and we made a salad quicker than any get out. What a great investment!
So now today is day 12 - what will it bring? Who knows, only God. I am okay with that.
it!
and helping me

I like this saying because isn't there moments that we "wish we could do a "do over" - since we can't we can start our day over.
This is even better of course! I think that is what my fast is going towards.
Listen to God's Word that is the TRUTH!
