Sunday, such a good day!

hI had such a good day because I was able to be around people that I love! My church family!  It was like a breath of fresh air, and I was so refreshed!

Got some much needed hugs. Got to see all of the adorable children at our church. They give the best hugs!

Of course Praising God, is the best of the best!

Singing with the worship team - just listening to our worship team is fantastic. We are so blessed to have such talented singers and musicians. Sometimes I will close my eyes and just listen to them and the people around me. I love it when I hear a child blurt out the words.

Jerry and I took Amy out to lunch and had such a good visit. Marlys and Dale showed up and we were blessed to have Emily their granddaughter  sit with us too - she is a feisty 10 or 11 year old, who I just love to death.

After that I was blessed by going shopping at Stuff Etc. got me some adorable clothes (not that I needed them - but hey, it is the simple pleasures).

What a difference a day makes.....

So no matter what happened yesterday there is always for tomorrow!

Saturday at the farm....

There has been so much rain here lately. Unfortunately it didn't rain Saturday, the 22nd. Jerry and I ended up going to "the farm" to help out his mother. Oh my it was painful in more ways than one. First of all working outside is not my thing, I am still hurting from picking up branches and piles of grass. It was hot, but thankfully the wind was blowing.

Jerry's Mom was in a "fighting mood" I think. Nothing pleased her. I used to think lately that it was missing her husband, but she has been like that as long as I have known her. I pray for her, I pray for Jerry's siblings...oh it is hard. If you get a chance can you lift Jerry's Mother up to have her heart softened. She has so much anger inside, and she doesn't forgive - well not that I know of anyway. I tell you, I really don't want to go back there, maybe after a month or two I will change my mind. The last time I was there was Easter. I am at the season of my life that I want to be around happy people, ones that love God and ones who you can't wait to be around again.

Yep, I am not a farmer....Jerry seems to be one. He wasn't too happy that day either though. He got a tad bit upset with his mom...but he is a forgiving, godly man.

But at least when we left there we went to DQ - had a good chicken salad and a small DQ cone - YUM!!!

Came home and was so exhausted!

Yep, Saturday was A LONG DAY!!!

Don't ask why or how, just be.....

What a beatuiful picture someone took. It gives me a sense of peace when I look at it.

This one is very cool too.

I was reading other blogs and Contentment kept "jumping" out. Then I started thinking of course and tried not to ask that horrible "Why"question,  or how question so I just took a deep breath and I knew right there and then I was content. It really doesn't take that much effort. I look around our home and realize it is good to be home.

I went shopping earlier, I got 2 new blouses, I say new because usually I do buy my clothes at second hand stores. Today I thought I would treat myself - I am glad I did. Then I treated myself to a Panara Chicken Strawberry, blueberry, mandarin orange , pecan, crunchy lettuce and poppy seed dressing salad- - DELICIOUS!!!

Jerry is at the farm and hopefully he got the rest of the soy beans planted. The weather has not been much helpful here. Today - a great day for that.

The hurry less is on my agenda! Of course praying and laughing is always on my agenda!

Isn't this the truth!!

Search for the beauty with wide open eyes,
See what's around you, don't listen to lies.
Reach out to someone if you must -
I myself it is God I trust.

Yes I can be content where I am now
Don't even try to ask me how.
We all have our ways be that way
One thing for sure all we have is today! -- Anita
